National Library Week is an annual event that emphasizes the importance libraries and library staff have within their communities.  It highlights the focus on growing readership and the library’s vision of creating a lifelong love of reading.  In celebration of this year’s National Library Week,

The library applied to SEAL (Solar Eclipses Activities for Librarians) in October. 500 FREE solar glasses were awarded to the library. The library will be hosting a solar viewing party from 12-1p.m. on the day of the solar eclipse.
