The Liberty Municipal Library serves the City of Liberty and surrounding areas with programs and materials for people of all ages. The library holds a collection of over 60,000 titles (books, magazines, ebooks, audio books, blu-rays, dvds, music, genealogy, reference, read-along books) and counting.
The library is located in the Geraldine D. Humphreys Cultural Center at 1710 Sam Houston Street in Liberty.
The primary role of the library is to serve area residents as a popular materials library for reading, listening, and viewing pleasure. The secondary role is to help residents obtain information to meet their personal, educational, and professional needs and to promote reading readiness for preschool children.
