The Liberty Police Department is the answering point for 911 in the City of Liberty.  All Dispatchers are certified in the use of 911.

Any person in need of emergency Law Enforcement, Fire or Ambulance services in the City of Liberty should dial 911.  Call 936-336-5666 for non-emergency police business.

The Liberty Police Department is open 24 hours daily and employs 7 full-time Dispatchers, 2 State certified Animal Control officers, an Office Manager, an Administrative Assistant, 10 Patrol Officers, a Patrol Corporal, a Patrol Sergeant and a Patrol Lieutenant, 3 Investigators and a CID Lieutenant, a Captain, and the Chief of Police.  In addition, the Department has a supplemental staff of part-time Dispatchers and Reserve Police Officers.
