CITY OF LIBERTY - CITY COUNCIL ELECTION - May 8, 2010. A general election will be held on May 8, 2010, to elect a mayor and three council members. These positions are for two-year terms and are elected at large. Filing will be held from February 6 through March 8, 2010. Candidate filing packets may be picked up in the City Secretary’s office during regular business hours. Additional election information is available by calling the City of Liberty at 936-336-3684.
CIUDAD DE LIBERTY - ELECCIÓN DEL MUNICIPIO - 8 de mayo del 2010. Una elección general será llevada a cabo el día 8 de mayo del 2010, para elegir un alcalde y a tres miembros del consejo. Estas posiciones son por un periodo de dos años y serán eligidos por mayoría. Las registraciones empezarán a partir de febrero 7 hasta marzo 8 del 2010. Effective December 1, 2009, Alarm systems within the city limits of Liberty must have an alarm system permit. The application fee for an alarm permit is $25.00 per year.
