Liberty Police Department Patrol Vehicles

The Liberty Police Department seeks to positively impact the quality of life throughout the community by delivering professional and courteous services, preserving the peace, enforcing the law and Constitution, protecting property and providing a safe environment for all citizens.

The Liberty Police Department is open 24 hours daily and employs 7 full-time Dispatchers, 2 Full time and 1 part time State certified Animal Control officers, an Office Manager, an Administrative Assistant, 10 Patrol Officers, 2 Patrol Sergeants and a Patrol Lieutenant. A CID Lieutenant and 2 Investigators, an Assistant Chief and the Chief of Police. In addition, the Department has a supplemental staff of part-time Dispatchers and Reserve Police Officers.

The Liberty Police Department is the answering point for 9-1-1 in the City of Liberty. All Dispatchers are certified in the use of 9-1-1. Any person in need of emergency Law Enforcement, Fire or Ambulance services in the City of Liberty should dial 9-1-1. Call (936) 336-5666 for non-emergency police business.
