Electrical Permits
Electrical Permits are issued to state-licensed electricians or any residential home owner that has proof of homestead exemption. All commercial businesses and residential or commercial rental property must have a state-licensed electrician obtain a permit and perform the work. All work done must conform to the National Electrical Code 2014 edition with amendments. Please call the Inspections Department to get further details on the amendments.
