Conflict of Interest

The Texas Legislature passed HB 914 in the 2005 Legislative Session, which has been codified under Chapter 176 of the Local Government Code. According to this legislation, all vendors and other persons contracting or seeking to contract for the sale or purchase of property, goods, or services with a local government entity must file a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire with the City Secretary’s Office. The Conflict of Interest Form was created by the Texas Ethics Commission.
