The Sam Houston Regional Library & Research Center is a part of the Archives and Information Services Division of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. Located at 650 FM 1011, off of State Highway 146, its holdings document Southeast Texas history. The Center is a Regional Historical Resource Depository for ten Southeast Texas counties. Rotating exhibits focus on special collections and timely Southeast Texas historical events and celebrations.
