The Liberty Police Department is
open 24 hours daily and employs 5 full time Dispatchers, an Animal Control
officer, an Administrative Secretary, 8 Patrol Officers, 2 Investigators, a
Narcotics Investigator, a Sergeant Investigator, a Patrol Sergeant, and the
Chief of Police. In addition, the
department has a supplemental staff of part time Dispatchers and Reserve
Police Officers.
The Liberty Police
Department is the answering point for 911 in the City of Liberty. All Dispatchers are certified in the use of 911.
Any person in need of emergency
Law Enforcement, Fire, or Ambulance services in the City of Liberty should dial 911. Call (936) 336-5666 for
non-emergency police business.
The Municipal Court
Clerk's office is located in the Police Department. The Court Clerk's hours
are 7:30 a.m. to
11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic
fines can be paid 24 hours daily at the dispatch window.
The department provides vacation
patrols for persons who are going to be out of town. While you are out of town if you would
like for an officer to stop by your house and conduct a physical check of

be asked a few questions about dates, vehicles that will be present, whom
to contact in case of emergency, etc.
