Planning & Zoning Commission
Purpose
The Planning & Zoning Commission acts as an advisory board to the City Council in matters relating to public improvements; civic improvements; city planning; opening, widening and changing of streets or thoroughfares; routing of public utilities; controlling and regulating traffic upon the public streets of the City of Liberty; and such other matters relating to City improvements as the Commission and the Council may deem beneficial to the City.
Meetings
The Commission meets on an as-needed basis on Wednesdays at 12 noon.
Members
The Commission is appointed by the City Council on or after May 1st of each year. This Commission is comprised of qualified voters of the City who are appointed for three-year terms as established by the Charter of the City of Liberty.
