Airport Joint Height Hazard Zoning Board
Purpose
The Airport Joint Height Hazard Board develops regulations for future development in the vicinity of the Liberty Municipal Airport by setting restrictions on the height of structures and objects of natural growth and by regulating the use of nearby property. These regulations are necessary in order to protect the safety of airport users, as well as persons and property on the ground.
Meetings
The Board meets at the direction of the Chairman.
Members
The Board was formed in March 2009; and its members are comprised of citizens from the City of Liberty, City of Ames, and Liberty County.
